It's in 'design' so I have no grounds to complain about the text... but I will anyway I really don't think it needs it at all - the image works brilliantly well without it. As a poster the crop is very punchy and the text balances the composition - as a straight piece of art I'd like to see more space to the sides of the flag so that you could see it's beginning and end. Rambling thoughts.... Phill

This image itself is gorgeous, but I hate to tell you, just because you don't like a country, doesn't mean it's obsolete. Were that the case, the entire globe would be to me. I'm not going to agree on your views, and frankly the whole anti American thing is getting slightly redundant, talk about all people thinking the same and never going outside their worldview box... but... I rather like the artwork itself, but I disagree heartily with the relic part. The American constitution was constructed to be flexible to changing times. Just becuase the United States has one of (if not the oldest - but I'm not 100% sure on that fact) constitutional governments in the world, doesn't make it out of date. To Arthony: Holy war? Are we starting the Crusades again? Really a very lovely picture, though. The textures make it very interesting.
